The charity is funded solely by donations, legacies and fundraising events such as the three benefit concerts held each year at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
The concerts have been held every year since February 1902 and are well supported by performers, who give their services free to benefit the charity, and by members of the public who attend the concerts on a regular basis.
